# Talk to your local Solid Waste Department and ask if a plan is in place to start curbside recycling. Offer to help spread the word.
# Talk to your Mayor or County Commissioner and express your desire to have curbside recycling. Ask your friends and neighbors to do the same. The more voices they hear, the more likely they are to listen!
Berkeley County Water & Sanitation
Water
A minimum monthly charge of $8.50 plus a volumetric rate of $3.62 per 1000 gallons used or per part thereof.
Sewer
Residential – $44.00 per month
Sewer Flow Meter Rate – $44.00 for the first 5500 gallons flow of domestic waste water discharged or parts thereof and $8.00 for each additional 1,000 gallons flow of domestic waste water discharged or parts thereof.

Crowfield Homeowners' Association. The Association office is located in Middleton Park at the corner of Hunters Lane and Crowfield Boulevard.
Crowfield has a mandatory annual assessment for all Homeowners. The assessment is due January 1 of each year and is presently $304.84 per year.
A 78-acre lake is available for recreation\fishing (NO SWIMMING). Two docks are available for use, one located in The Hamlet Park

(a) Base Energy Charge:

Non-Summer Season..................................$0.0888/kWh
Summer Season – The Summer Season energy charge shall apply to all
kWh use for bills rendered during the months of June, July, August and
September. Energy use for such bills shall not be prorated for periods
outside of these four calendar months.
(b) Fuel Adjustment:
The Authority's Fuel Adjustment Clause FAC-09 is applicable to all energy
sales hereunder, with "Fb/Sb" and "K" of the formula in said clause being
equal to $0.03641/kWh and, 0.135 respectively.
(c) Demand Sales Adjustment:
The Authority's Demand Sales Adjustment Clause DSC-09 is applicable to
all energy sales hereunder.
